Privacy policy

This policy describes the processing of personal data carried out from the looptra.ai site. It does not cover the products Looptra publishes, each of which has its own documentation, nor the processing carried out on behalf of our clients as part of projects.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Nicolas Leblanc, a sole trader trading under the name Looptra, 12 rue Letellier, 75015 Paris. For any question about your data, write to contact@looptra.ai. No data protection officer is appointed: the conditions of article 37 of the GDPR are not met, the site carrying out neither large-scale systematic monitoring nor large-scale processing of special-category data.

2. Data collected

The site creates no user account and collects only what you send us voluntarily:

  • Contact form: name, company, email address, and the free text you write
  • Email exchanges: the data you choose to include in them
  • Technical data strictly necessary for the operation and security of the site, logged server side

We ask you not to include sensitive data or trade secrets in a first message. A confidentiality agreement is put in place before any detailed exchange.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Answering a contact request and qualifying a project Steps prior to a contract
Carrying out an engagement and managing the client relationship Performance of the contract
Securing the site and preventing abuse Legitimate interest
Meeting our accounting and tax obligations Legal obligation

We do not use your data for automated outreach and we do not sell it.

4. Recipients and processors

Your data is accessible only to Nicolas Leblanc. Two technical providers act as processors within the meaning of article 28 of the GDPR:

  • Vercel Inc., United States, site hosting. Processes only the technical connection logs, including IP addresses.
  • Hostinger International Ltd, Cyprus, email service. Processes the content of the emails you send us.

No invoicing tool is used to date. The contact form sends nothing to a server: it opens your mail client with a prefilled message, so its content passes through no provider until you send it yourself.

5. Transfers outside the European Union

The email service is established in the European Union. Hosting, however, is provided by Vercel Inc., a company established in the United States: the technical connection logs, including IP addresses, are therefore transferred outside the European Union. That transfer is governed by the safeguards of chapter V of the GDPR, Vercel stating in its own privacy policy that it relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. No other transfer outside the European Union takes place, and any new transfer would be reported here.

6. Retention periods

  • Contact request with no follow-up: 3 years from the last exchange
  • Client file: the term of the contractual relationship, then 5 years under the limitation period
  • Accounting records: 10 years, as required by the French Commercial Code
  • Technical logs: 12 months at most

7. Security

We apply proportionate technical and organizational measures: encrypted exchanges, named and restricted access, verified backups, access logging, traced updates. We do not promise the absence of risk, we document what we put in place and we can account for it.

8. Cookies

This site sets no advertising cookie and no third-party tracker. Only cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the site may be used, exempt from consent within the meaning of the CNIL guidelines. No profiling is carried out.

Language preference. When you explicitly pick a language, through the switcher or the suggestion bar, the site stores that choice in your browser's local storage, under the key looptra.lang. This never leaves your device: it is sent to no server, neither ours nor a third party's. It persists until you clear the site's data. No cookie is set.

9. Your rights

You have a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection, as well as a right to the portability of the data you have provided to us. You may also give directions as to what becomes of your data after your death.

These rights are exercised by simple request to contact@looptra.ai. We reply within one month, extended to three months for a complex request, and we may ask for proof of identity in the event of reasonable doubt.

10. Complaints

If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07.
